Frequently asked questions about international projects
General
What does 1A Tinyhouse offer abroad?
We plan, produce and deliver high-quality tiny houses for locations abroad — as a private vacation home, a rental property or part of a resort concept. The focus is on the Mediterranean countries of Europe as well as selected destinations worldwide.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Above all to the coastal and Mediterranean countries of Europe (e.g. Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Cyprus) as well as selected destinations worldwide (e.g. Bali, Costa Rica, USA). Feasibility depends on the location and logistics.
Are the projects shown finished offers?
No. All projects shown are non-binding concepts and examples for illustration — they are neither ready to sell nor guaranteed. We develop your project individually.
Process & delivery
How does an international project work?
In three steps: first we clarify the idea and the destination country, then we develop the concept and planning (with a note on local reviews), and finally we produce in Germany and coordinate delivery to the location.
How is the tiny house delivered?
We coordinate production and transport. Within Europe, delivery is usually by road; to islands by ferry. We plan the logistics project by project.
Do I need a plot of land?
For a permanently placed house, a suitable plot is generally required. The search and legal review are carried out with local partners.
Law, taxes & investment
Who handles law, taxes and permits?
Local legal, tax and building-law questions must be clarified with professionals in the respective country. We are an advisory planning and production partner, not a legal or tax authority.
Is there a return or investment guarantee?
No. Figures on occupancy, rental income or performance are not guaranteed and depend on the market. We do not provide investment advice; an individual review is required.
Am I allowed to rent out my house abroad?
In many regions, vacation renting is possible, but often subject to licensing. Whether and to what extent it is permitted depends on the plot's zoning and local regulations and must be reviewed in advance.
